This 8 week Mindful Yoga course is aimed at those wanting to take some time out for themselves. Mindful Yoga is a nurturing practice, the focus being on the mind/body connection whilst developing concentration on moment to moment awareness.  The classes are open to all levels, as the physical movement will be slow and gentle, with alternative options if needed. The venue is a purpose built Yoga Studio and all equipment is provided.

Simply put, Mindfulness is cultivating purposeful attention on the here and now, non-judgementally and accepting whatever is arising. We'll be integrating Mindfulness meditations with movement to develop this specific kind of awareness, and incorporating restorative postures to encourage relaxation. There are many benefits of Mindfulness meditation and movement. Research is showing that it can help reduce stress, regulate our emotions, improve concentration and improve sleep. It has also shown that meditation can literally re-wire or re-shape the brain and improve the quality of our life experiences, enabling us to live a richer, fuller life.

Cost for the full course is $100, payable on the first class.

Drop in price is possible if there is space at $16 per class.
